I wonder, when hunting animals in the wild, is it safe to eat the meat after it rots without any sort of preservation technique? Will it be much the same as eating high-meat?

Thank you

I believe it's okay. We were scavengers as well as hunters when we had to be.

yir,

But in our "nomad" years, we always traveled in groups, and a group will eat way faster than a lone individual. So I'm thinking, wouldn't they eat it before it spoiled? has anyone else tried this? Any experiences/thoughts?

Palaeo humans must have come across carcasses in the wild and would have had to take advantage of such given the scarcity of food.

We also had different immune systems. Eating wild rotten meat may okay, but I'd recommend eating a little at a time to build up your system. Just like Wai recommended eating raw yolks a little at a time- if you aren't used to it- makes very good sense.

Best wishes,

the scarcity of food
Huh?

Well, that should be obvious. In Paleo times before agriculture, humans would have had to hunt or scavenge. There would have been lean times(eg:- winter) where food was less plentiful etc., so they would have had to make do with any rotting carcasses they found.
