Eggs are not a problem in moderation, but if you use them as your primary source of fat, it's not a good idea.

But my question still remains, is there any research implicating cholesterol (raw or cooked) in disease or is that wholly myth?

There are plenty of studies one can google which show cholesterol as either harmful or fine. Part of the problem, I suspect, is that the studies focus solely on the issue of cholesterol/saturated fat or whatever in the cooked animal food, but the cooked-meat also contains toxns such as AGEs, PAH, so they don't necessarily take the effects of those toxins into account.

There's a lot more that paint dietary cholesterol in a bad light than there is that say its okay. I think part of the problem is equating dietary cholesterol with blood cholesterol on the part of the researchers. I believe many simply assume that one causes the other. In doing so, they are committing a logical fallacy by equating two different things on the basis of superficial similarities. Dietary cholesterol and blood cholesterol sound similar, but have significant chemical differences.

I don't think the discipline of human nutrition is very state-of-the-art. Most of the implications of its theories fail to materialize, and many of its bases go against not only long tradition, but human evolution as well. The only thing nutrition seems to be in lock-step with is the medical industry. Considering that it has no awareness of its own past, and little predictive value for the future, modern human nutrition studies are largely junk-science meant to fit a pill-popping paradigm ... IMO.

EGGS: only a problem if they are NOT FERTILIZED and NOT ORGANIC.  The eggs must be FRESH, fertilized and organic at the same time.  My 2nd son at 5 years old has stated and noticed the difference.  He was initially observed as allergic to "EGGS" but it appears he is just allergic to UNNATURAL EGGS / chicken menstruation / not fertilized eggs / not organic eggs.  With REAL PALEO EGGS my son is fine.

I am of the opinion the cholesterol levels are an automatic thing.  As much as heart beat rate is an automatic thing.  Cholesterol levels are not something you artificially depress to meet pharmaceutical criteria because the drug industry wants to sell you more drugs.  Search "cholesterol myth".  I subscribe to that.

In the realm of healing with my teachers, they say good cholesterol levels are 200 or 220 + your age.

If you do have wild cholesterol levels, just do your liver flushes so your liver can auto regulate you.

If you are concerned with atherosclerosis, then the real culprit is mostly a vitamin c deficiency.  Massive vitamin C intake from high vitamin c fruits + raw fat in the same meal will pump you with tons of vitamin c.  That should clear arteries... plus restore the color of all whitened hair.

In short I am at odds with the MEDICAL GUYS.  They superstitiously follow whatever is $$$ profitable.

This resonates with me.
