This article is written in the standard cynical journalist tone. Aajonus does leave himself wide open to this sort thing. http://meatalovestory.com/excerpt.html

This was the only online website which the guy on wikipedia allowed so that I was able to include a reference to the Primal Diet. All the other websites mentioning the primal diet were disallowed, which was ridiculous.
Interesting to see that it's claimed that some 20,000 North Americans follow the Primal Diet - when one also includes those abroad and all those doing raw versions of Weston-Price or the Palaeolithic diet, it comes to quite a lot of RAFers, worldwide.

Well, I finally got round to reading the whole of the article. I must say that the author of the piece came across as a complete idiot, needlessly frightened etc. Still, admittedly, I used to have much the same sort of foolish attitude vis-a-vis raw meats, pre-rawpalaeo diet.

I admire him in my own way. It's just that he's such an obvious con-man(all those endless changes of aliases/names(eg:- Swigart/Planitz/Vonderplanitz etc.), for example!). And when he's asked for evidence/proof, rather than giving e-mail-addresses of people who've been success-stories, which would be the sensible thing, he claims such nonsense as that a laboratory with the relevant evidence refuses to give him the results unless he pays a million dollars etc. etc. And then there's his obviously fake story about how he met some wild coyotes who introduced him to the raw animal food diet.

Has anyone actually pinned him on a lie yet?
It seems to me if he wanted to be a con man he could have made a lot more money than whatever he's making now.

I will be seeing Aajonus on Aug 24th at his potluck. He is braver than brave and at age 60 is physically a young buck. Anyone else on this blog coming? Get directions at http://www.wewant2live.com/site/811618/page/937343

Aajonus' life story seems like a stretch, but that's because it most probably is true.
Hey, all of us here eat raw animal food, we all seem strange, weird and unbelievable to most people.
I've cured my own and other people's incurable diseases, and that seems strange for most people.
I like that one about the wolves and the bunny rabbit part. Maybe it was real, maybe he was hallucinating, whatever it was, that is how he found out about eating raw animal food.
